Trust and safety

A sona exists only if the person says yes.

Every sona is of a living, verified person who agreed to it, approved it and can switch it off. Everyone who talks to one is told what it is.

Living people, verified

Every sona is of a living person who has passed identity verification and agreed to it. An agency or employer can propose one; only the person can say yes.

Approved before anyone meets it

The person talks to their sona first, corrects it and decides when it goes live. They can pause or delete it at any time.

Off-limits subjects

The person, and their team where they have one, list the people, subjects and opinions the sona should steer clear of. It is built to say when it doesn't know, and conversations can be reviewed.

Voice only with consent

A voice is cloned only with the person's agreement, with rights cleared by them or their agency. Voice can be switched off and text kept.

City, never address

Sonas mention location at city level at most. Venues, hotels and streets are removed, and so is location data in photos.

Your material stays yours

Your material and your character profile are used for your sona and nothing else, and never sold or used to train other models. Delete a sona and it all goes with it.

What fans are told

Before the first message, every time.

Fans know they are talking to the talent's sona and not the person, and that the talent's team may read conversations. Ages are checked when fans sign up, before any paid level or private channel opens, in line with local rules.

The notice fans see

You're about to talk to Mara Quinn's sona. It is an AI version of Mara, built with her and kept up to date by her, but it isn't Mara. Mara's team may read conversations to keep them safe and true to her.

I understandThen age check, then the conversation.

In organisations

Clear about who is speaking.

Company or personal

Every source is tagged. Company positions are labelled as the company's, and the person's own views as theirs.

Invitation only

Access needs an invitation from the organisation. Colleagues are checked against its email domain.

Private conversations

Organisations see topics and trends, not what an individual asked.

When people leave

Personal material leaves with them. The organisation keeps its own knowledge. A name and voice stay only with written consent.
